Blast off in Nursery!
Our little astronauts have been on an out-of-this-world adventure, exploring the wonders of space! They’ve had a blast designing and building their own junk model rockets, using their creativity and problem solving skills to make their spacecraft ready for takeoff.
They got hands-on with sensory space slime and gloop, discovering textures, cause and effect, and early scientific concepts in the most fun (and slightly messy!) way. We made space buns for our snack—they were delicious!
We’ve also been learning all about the planets, the moon, and the stars, diving into fascinating space facts through lots of fact books. The children have been captivated by the wonders of our solar system, asking brilliant questions and expanding their knowledge of the universe.
Working together, they built a giant class rocket ship, learning about teamwork and imagination as they prepared for their pretend space mission. We sang Zoom, Zoom, Zoom, We’re Going to the Moon and imagined what it would be like to be real astronauts exploring the galaxy!
