P2CB visit the Greengrocers

P2CB visited the greengrocers on the Belmont Road as part of our topic. We’ve been learning about fruit and vegetables and the importance of consuming vitamins to keep our bodies healthy. The trip also provided a great opportunity to incorporate numeracy skills, as we paid with a pound coin and received change. We had a fantastic time exploring the different fruits and vegetables. Back in class, we tried new fruits that we hadn’t tasted before, including a grapefruit, which was really sour! It was a fun and educational experience that brought our learning to life.
