In P1 we have been learning about 2D shapes. We went for a shape walk around our school and played shape I spy before doing these fun activities.
We enjoyed making 2D shapes such as squares, rectangles and triangles with lollipop sticks. Using the sticks helped us to physically count how many sides and corners these shapes have!
Lately in P1 we have been learning about animals all around the world and we drew animals using only 2D shapes. We even labelled the shapes we used to create the animal. They turned out so good - check out the photos!
